RED

Red is every where today to celebrate the Chinese New Year. It always refreshes my eyes and warm my heart whenever I see  this color. I read on Color Psychology, it is the study of hues as a determinent of human behavior, that color is a powerful communication tool and can be used to signal action, influence mood, and even influence psychological reaction. Certain colors have been associated with increased blood pressure, increased metabolism, and eyestrain (by Kendra Cherry in www.verywellmind.com).

It is said that Red as color is the single most dynamic and passionate color, symbolize love, rage, and courage. Demanding attention, red has great emotional impact. Those who select red are aggresive, impulsive and strive for success. The desire to experience the fullness of living leads to constant activity.

Based on my experiences, everything that is new always attract more  attention. It sometimes strongly motivate  our heart in a sense that we usually put more effort on it.  For example, my new resolution to do morning walking every day has led  to the arrangement of  my daily routine new schedule in order not to skip one single day during the month. Though, it was failed, as I skipped one Sunday, but  it gave a lesson to  rearrange my morning routine better.

Back to the Chinese New Year with its red color, I think, every one who celebrate this special time is invited to be ready to face  the challenges of having a new life with their fullest love, rage, and courage to strive for success. I read all good prayers and hopes that are raised for this new year of the water tiger. Let us do our best and let God do the rest.
